Battery Cyclers & Charge–Discharge Testers

Compare SSI battery cycler configurations for coin-cell research and cell formation: eight-channel 5 V / 20 mA and 5 V / 12 A catalog options.

Choose the cycling range around the cell

A battery cycler applies programmed charge and discharge steps to support cell research. Start with cell voltage, charge/discharge current and the intended cycle sequence. These two SSI listings cover laboratory cell testing; they do not establish a high-voltage battery-pack test range.

Coin-cell research versus cell formation

The 20 mA configuration is the low-current option. The 12 A configuration is listed for formation and cycling. Confirm the minimum operating current, measurement range and accuracy at your intended test point. A channel count does not, by itself, confirm independent channel control or the supplied fixture package.

Frequently asked questions

Is a battery cycler the same as a battery recycler?

No. These listings concern electrical charge–discharge testing and formation. They do not describe material recovery or recycling equipment.

Does a cycler quotation include every accessory?

Ask for an itemized scope covering leads, holders, software and any temperature or chamber interfaces. Inclusion is confirmed in the quotation.
